At INDmoney, we are looking for a sharp and proactive legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic fintech environment. This role focuses on managing disputes, conflicts, brand protection, regulatory risk, and dispute resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand & Platform Protection: Lead legal actions and preventive strategies against impersonation, fraud attempts, and brand misuse across platforms. Coordinate with internal risk and external legal teams to proactively deter reputational threats.
• Conflict Resolution & Disputes: Oversee pre-litigation and formal resolution of disputes across business units.
• Authorities Engagement: Independently handle interactions with authorities including proactively responding to complaints, notices, and requests across jurisdictions in India.
• Litigation Management: Manage end-to-end litigation in consumer forums and courts. Coordinate with external counsels and business leaders to ensure aligned legal strategy.
• Contracting & Transactions: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts across a wide range of categories — vendors, partners, service providers, and financial institutions — ensuring alignment with commercial and compliance requirements.
• Product & Regulatory Advisory: Provide legal inputs on new initiatives, platform policies, and product structures in compliance with applicable laws and guidelines across broking, lending, insurance, and wealth management.

Who You Are

• 5–8 years of experience in a legal role involving litigation, regulatory engagement, and commercial advisory.
• Solid understanding of legal procedures and regulatory frameworks across India, including consumer law, IT Act, and financial services regulations.
• Experience managing high-pressure legal issues, including fraud-related matters, such as platform misuse, and sensitive disputes.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills — across business, legal, and external authorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• LLB from a reputed institution; litigation or mixed legal background preferred.
