Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in core accounting functions. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling GST filings, MIS reporting, cash and fund flow planning, statutory compliance, and leading a small finance team. This role is key to ensuring the financial health and regulatory compliance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns and other statutory compliances.
• Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to support strategic planning and decision-making.
• Monitor and manage daily cash flow and fund flow, including forecasting and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and oversee bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Handle all direct and indirect tax-related matters and liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Lead, guide, and support junior accountants to ensure smooth financial operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 –5 years of relevant experience in core accounting, preferably in a corporate setting.
• In-depth knowledge of GST laws, statutory compliance, and fund management.
• Strong MIS reporting and analytical skills.
• Leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a small team.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
