Job Summary

Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance

• Prepare and file

  GST returns

  ,

  TDS returns

  , and other statutory filings accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with current tax regulations.

Accounts Management

• Maintain

  accurate books of accounts

  in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain

  daily, monthly, and annual accounting records

  .

Reconciliations

• Regularly reconcile

  bank statements

  ,

  vendor accounts

  ,

  inventory records

  , and

  payment gateways

  .
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Vendor & Payment Management

• Monitor and manage

  vendor payments

  , ensuring timely settlements and accurate records.
• Track receivables and payables efficiently.

Inventory Accounting

• Ensure accurate recording of

  inventory movement and valuation

  .
• Reconcile stock across systems (ERP vs. physical vs. accounting).

Reporting & Analysis

• Assist in the preparation of

  financial reports

  , MIS, and audit documentation.
• Utilize

  Advanced Excel

  for data analysis, reporting, and dashboards.
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in

  Accounting

  ,

  Finance

  , or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a

  manufacturing or retail environment

  .
• Strong working knowledge of

  GST, TDS

  , and other Indian statutory compliance.
• Proficient in

  Advanced Excel

  (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, etc.).
• Experience with

  Tally

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
