Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Use child-centric and interactive teaching methods including experiments, models, visual aids, and project work.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments as per academic guidelines.
• Encourage curiosity, observation, and inquiry-based learning among students.
• Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment.
• Track and report student progress through regular assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate Science with other subjects wherever relevant.
• Organize and guide Science-related activities, events, and exhibitions.
• Communicate regularly with parents on student performance and development.
• Participate in teacher training programs, workshops, and school events.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science (B.Sc) or relevant field. B.Ed preferred.
• 2+ years of teaching experience in primary or middle school Science.
• Strong command of English and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with experiential and NEP-aligned teaching practices.
