SAP Infrastructure Engineer

Location:

Pune (Hybrid)

4 to 9 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a SAP Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing SAP systems across both cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high availability infrastructure setup and a deep understanding of HANA and GCP environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage SAP infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance
  • Support cloud migrations, hybrid deployments, and system performance tuning
  • Implement and manage high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) architectures
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis and cloud platform teams for infrastructure alignment
  • Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve system bottlenecks

Must-Have Skills

  • Deep experience with SAP system infrastructure design (ECC/S4HANA)
  • Strong working knowledge of GCP infrastructure relevant to SAP workloads
  • Hands-on experience with HANA HA/DR configurations
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix) and networking principles

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Terraform, Ansible, Shell)
  • Exposure to SAP deployment on other hyperscalers (AWS, Azure)

Soft Skills

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
  • Good coordination and stakeholder communication skills
