Overview

A Sales Intern, or Junior Sales Associate, supports the sales team in an entry-level capacity while gaining hands-on experience in the field. This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn real-world sales techniques and grow their communication, research, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the manager or sales team to complete assigned tasksConduct lead generation, outreach calls, and follow-upsAssist in explaining and promoting financial products to potential customersAttend virtual meetings and training sessions to observe and learnMaintain and update CRM records and sales reportsObserve and assist in client handling and deal closure strategiesConduct market research and customer surveysCommunicate with clients and vendors when requiredTake initiative and notes on sales strategies, tools, and results

Qualifications and Skills

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related fieldExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude, collaborative spirit, and a willingness to learnGood organizational skills and attention to detailTech-savvy and comfortable working with CRM tools and spreadsheetsPrior experience in customer service, telecalling, or sales (preferred but not mandatory)Ability to work independently in a remote environment
