Who Fits the Bill and How?

The Researcher will be responsible to conduct in-depth research, analyse information and write long form reports to support consulting engagements for clients. The work entails intensive information research using industry parlances, geopolitical dynamics, political and policy basics, etc.

This role involves conducting deep research through specialised sources, collating information, identifying key attributes and trends, and assisting the team in writing reports, updates and proposals within given framework.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct research: Gather data from various sources like media, corporate and industry databases
2. Analyze data: Identify patterns, trends, and insights from the information gathered
3. Develop research reports: Assist in creating comprehensive reports and presentations that include research inputs
4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously update knowledge on industry developments, market trends, and best practices and work closely with the engagement team
5. Possess the ability to work on multiple projects: Prioritize and manage multiple research projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

Requirements

1. Education: Sound academic background with a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in either business, economics, or social sciences)
2. Research skills: Strong research and analytical skills
3. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner
4. Focus areas: High attention to detail, deadlines and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
5. Team player: Ability to work collaboratively with consultants and other team members

Experience

0 - 3 years. Preferably, with exposure to one of the following - corporate firms, think tanks, media, consulting, research organisations or market intelligence:

• Proven proficiency in primary and secondary research with minimal supervision
• Ability to navigate complex information and proficiency in longform writing
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
• Integrity & Confidentiality - demonstrated ability to manage confidential information
