Job Title: Relationship Manager

Reports To: Branch Manager / Sales Head / Business Head

Location: Kanpur

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

A Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing customized solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and business growth. The role involves cross-selling and upselling products/services, ensuring high client retention, and managing client portfolios effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client requirements and provide tailored financial or business solutions.
  • Meet sales targets through cross-selling and upselling company products and services.
  • Regularly communicate with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor client accounts and ensure timely delivery of services or products.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings and market trends.
  • Prepare reports on client interactions, business opportunities, and market feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, support) to fulfill client needs.
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

  • Industry-specific experience (e.g., banking, finance, insurance, real estate) is a plus

  • Client retention rate
  • Customer satisfaction score (CSAT)
  • Sales/revenue targets achieved
  • Number of new client acquisitions
  • Timeliness and quality of issue resolution
