Job Description

Role- QA Location- Hyderabad (Onsite) Application MUST know Life400 or Life Asia Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing. Conduct functional, regression, Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and identify test cases to ensure software quality. Perform detailed analysis of software defects, identify root causes, and document issues clearly. Use test management tools (e.g., Jira,Zephyr) to track test execution and defects. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Participate in continuous improvement processes, providing input on ways to enhance testing strategies and processes. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide feedback on the overall user experience. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. Mentor junior testers and assist with improving team capabilities and knowledge. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 6 years of hands-on experience in software testing, both manual and automated. Proficient in test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Expertise in writing and executing test cases and scripts. Strong experience in automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar. Good knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript to develop automation scripts. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and defect tracking. Life Asia or Life Insurance experience is MUST
