Job Description – Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Mechanical

Location: Hi-Design Technology – Dinamoo Raipur Chhattisgarh

Department: Quality Control / Production

Pay Scale: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in industrial/manufacturing QA roles

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a mechanical engineering background and solid experience in quality inspection and industrial process control. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying quality issues, suggesting improvements, and ensuring products meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct in-process and final product quality inspections.

· Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering drawings, and specifications.

· Identify non-conformities and suggest corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Provide valuable quality improvement suggestions to the production team.

· Maintain documentation related to quality checks, inspection reports, and deviations.

· Collaborate with the production and engineering teams for root cause analysis.

· Develop, implement, and revise QA procedures and policies.

· Ensure calibration and proper use of measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.).

· Participate in internal audits, customer inspections, and third-party quality assessments.

· Monitor material traceability, defect tracking, and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.

· Minimum 3–5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing or engineering industry.

· In-depth knowledge of quality tools and practices (5S, 7QC Tools, CAPA, etc.).

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOMs.

· Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

· Hands-on experience in using mechanical measuring tools and instruments.

· Experience in suggesting practical improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

Preferred Attributes:

· Experience in fabrication, machining, or industrial assembly processes.

· Exposure to ISO standards, customer audits, and vendor quality assurance.

· Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality outcomes.
