QA Engineer

Job Description

Location: South Kolkata (Onsite Only – No Remote Work Opportunity) Experience: 6 months – 2 years (Experienced Candidates Preferred) Preferred Education: BCA We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team in South Kolkata . The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, a good eye for detail, and a strong understanding of software QA methodologies. Basic knowledge of automation testing will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify bugs and ensure product quality. Understand project requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test scenarios. Execute test plans and report issues in a clear and structured manner. Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and verify fixes. Ensure applications meet functional, performance, and UI standards. Maintain documentation related to testing processes and results. Requirements: 6 months to 2 years of experience in manual software testing. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes. Ability to create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must be based in South Kolkata. BCA graduates are preferred. Knowledge of automation testing tools like Selenium is a plus .
