Purchase & Procurement Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement & Purchase Engineer to handle material sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchase operations for interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of materials, negotiation skills, and experience using Excel, billing software, and inventory systems. Roles & Responsibilities: Source and procure interior materials, hardware, and finishes as per project requirements. Evaluate vendors, request quotations, and negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery timelines. Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely material availability at sites. Maintain inventory records, update stock levels, and coordinate with the warehouse team. Use billing and procurement software for order processing, invoicing, and vendor tracking. Stay updated on current market trends, materials, and new product alternatives. Coordinate with the design, site, and accounts teams to align purchase with project needs. Prepare and maintain documentation for purchase approvals, deliveries, and audits. Key Skills: Strong knowledge of interior materials and sourcing practices MS Excel & MS Office proficiency Familiarity with billing and inventory software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, ERP tools) Good negotiation and vendor management skills Inventory control and documentation Attention to detail and time management
