Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to lead our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with vendors, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement aligned with our production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals.
• Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors (especially for fabrics, trims, and packaging materials).
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines to secure the best deals without compromising quality.
• Coordinate with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure accurate material requirements.
• Issue and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and handle any delays or discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs to prevent overstocking or shortages.
• Maintain vendor records, pricing databases, and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with legal, quality, and sustainability standards.
• Continuously assess vendor performance and explore new sourcing opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the fashion or garment industry.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement software tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
