Purchase Executive

Hi there is an urgent requirement of Purchase Executive at India Autism Center, Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source reliable suppliers/vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
• Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation in coordination with the finance team.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with stores/warehouse to replenish stock as required.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs and timelines.
• Conduct vendor evaluations and maintain approved vendor lists.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and compliance norms.
• Resolve issues related to supply delays, quality discrepancies, or payment terms.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare, education, or NGO setup.
• Knowledge of procurement software and MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience working with non-profits or mission-driven organizations specially manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with GST, vendor compliance, and basic accounting processes.
• Knowledge of local vendors and suppliers in the Kolkata region.
