Job Description

Primary Science Teacher

About The Opportunity

A high-performing group of K-12 institutions operating in the Education & EdTech sector is expanding its STEM faculty across India. We integrate inquiry-based curricula, maker labs, and digital platforms to cultivate scientific temperament in young learners. To support this mission, we are hiring an on-site Primary Science Teacher to develop engaging classroom experiences and shape the next generation of thinkers.
Role & Responsibilities

Deliver NCERT-aligned science lessons for Grades 3-5 through hands-on experiments, storytelling, and project-based learning.
Create weekly lesson plans, worksheets, and formative assessments that leverage STEAM kits and multimedia resources.
Differentiate instruction for diverse learners, employing scaffolding, cooperative groups, and blended-learning tools.
Maintain an organised, safe mini-lab; model correct apparatus usage and enforce safety norms.
Monitor and record student progress on the LMS, provide constructive feedback, and engage parents during PTMs.
Collaborate with grade teams to refine curriculum, host science fairs, and integrate 21st-century competencies.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

B.Ed. or equivalent with Science specialisation plus valid TET/CTET.
2+ years teaching primary science in CBSE or ICSE environment.
Fluency in English and Hindi communication.
Command of smart boards, Google Classroom, and MS Office.
Evidence of strong classroom management and inquiry pedagogy.

Preferred

Experience with Design Thinking, STEM kits, or Atal Tinkering Labs.
Ability to develop digital content and utilise AR/VR in lessons.
