Role Overview The Industrial Project Engineer will oversee technical planning, design coordination, and project execution for industrial facilities and systems. This role requires a mix of engineering knowledge, project management skills, and on-site coordination to ensure projects meet operational, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and oversee installation and optimization of industrial systems, machinery, and processes Collaborate with design teams, vendors, contractors, and internal departments to define project scope and specifications Prepare and review technical drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and engineering documentation Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery Monitor on-site activities to ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, and safety regulations Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies Track progress, prepare status reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders Support commissioning and handover processes, including testing and troubleshooting Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment Solid knowledge of engineering principles, construction processes, and industrial systems Proficiency in project management tools and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, Advance Steel, Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, Gantt Charts, MS Project, or Primavera) Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment Willingness to travel to project sites as needed Preferred Qualifications PMP certification is an asset Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with local regulatory requirements and industrial safety standards
