Project Engineer

Resource Allocation, Utilization & Reporting ·        Support &Coordinate with site manager, site assistant manager for on time resource mobilization. ·        Pick and choose the optimum manpower with right skill and request for appropriate equipments in discussion with the Site Manager. ·        Monitor optimum utilization of resources, driving maximum efficiency out of the resources deployed for the project. ·        Abide to quality manuals and process placed by client/regulatory standards. ·        Monitor if the equipment are handled as per process & safety protocol and standard operating procedure. ·        Review and track the output of all inspection tests, post erection. ·        Educate the team on using PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment). ·        Ensure contract workmen, riggers, helpers, technicians adhere to work protocols (attendance, etc.) and monitor safety at site as per standards. ·        Follow appropriate storage procedures of materials, equipment, tools & tackles to ensure safety and maintenance. ·        Inform the site manager in case of breakdown of equipments during project execution. ·        Support auditory compliance procedures and adherence to the project plan regarding execution. ·        Prepare periodical reports (daily/weekly/ monthly progress reports) for site manager in collaboration with project coordinator. Customer Coordination   ·        Support site manager in coordinating with the customer at various stages of pre-execution, in-process and post-execution; for understanding the requirements, resource mobilization, protocol, welding, fitting, testing, safety aspects, obtaining project completion certificate, receivables and demobilization of resources. ·        Act upon customer feedback regarding service quality on an on-going basis, both during project execution as well as post completion. Propose appropriate corrective actions to the site manager and on approval implement it. Process Improvement & People Development   ·        Extend Support / Guidance to riggers, helpers, technicians whenever they face difficulties /shortcomings. ·        Follow and maintain systems and processes pertaining to project execution and suggest continual improvements. ·        Lead the execution team (technicians includingriggers, helpers, welders) and guide them to perform their jobs well; Train them, mentor and coach them such that they excel in their scope of work
