Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Engineer – Installation & Commissioning (Refrigeration & AC Plants)

Location: [Cochin]
Job Type: [Full-Time] Experience Level: [Mid-Level] Industry: Industrial Refrigeration/ HVAC / Engineering Services

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and execute electrical installation work for refrigeration and AC systems.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical components and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
Coordinate with mechanical and project teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures.
Prepare and maintain documentation including test reports, commissioning checklists, and as-built drawings.
Provide technical support during and after commissioning phases.
Liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Equivalent field.
7–10 years of relevant experience in HVAC or industrial refrigeration projects.
Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and control circuits.
Familiarity with standards such as IEC, IS, or NEC.
Ability to work independently and manage site activities.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Candidates having Experience in Navy/ Marine ships are preferred

Preferred Skills:

Experience with AC plant & refrigeration plant system integration.
Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and automation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
