Production Manager – Plastic Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor day-to-day production activities on the shop floor
• Maintain accurate records of plastic granules stock and ensure timely procurement
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with injection and blow molds
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for mold repair, polishing, and fitting
• Monitor production targets and ensure timely completion of daily schedules
• Maintain quality standards and minimize production wastage
• Liaise with design and mold suppliers for any changes or new development
• Supervise labor and machine operators; ensure safety and discipline on shop floor
• Generate daily production and material consumption reports

Requirements:

• experience in plastic product manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of plastic granules (PP, PET, HDPE, etc.) and mold behavior
• Experience with injection molding machines and related troubleshooting
• Ability to manage raw material inventory and procurement planning
• Excellent problem-solving and team management skills
• Good understanding of production planning and machine efficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Plastic Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with ERP or stock management software
• Familiarity with mold flow analysis and product quality testing is a plus
