Job Overview

We are seeking a committed and experienced Production Head for our facility in Daman. This is a full-time, mid-level position within our production team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in production planning and scheduling, vital to advancing our renewable energy initiatives. The role demands a proactive leader with a passion for innovation in production processes and a track record of driving efficiency in line with Suzlon’s commitment to excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in production processes, ensuring high efficiency and seamless operations within the manufacturing unit.
• Experience in managing production schedules and plans (Mandatory skill) to align with project delivery timelines and demands.
• Proficient in PPC (Production Planning and Control), effectively coordinating resources to meet production goals.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety and compliance within the production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address production challenges promptly, minimizing disruptions and optimizing output.
• Proven ability in process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, driving cost reductions and quality enhancements.
• Strong leadership capabilities, empowering and guiding production teams to achieve outstanding results.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge production technologies and methodologies in renewable energy, enhancing the manufacturing process.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Spearhead production activities at the Daman facility, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Develop and execute effective production plans and schedules, meeting quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Oversee and enhance production processes, embracing innovation and technology to optimize efficiency.
• Promote and enforce safety standards, creating a secure and compliant work environment for all production staff.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless integration and collaboration in the production lifecycle.
• Monitor production metrics and performance, implementing corrective actions to address deviations and enhance outcomes.
• Lead and mentor production teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, integrating best practices into the production strategy.
