Platform Engineer - Kafka

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer – Kafka who thrives in high-performance environments and is passionate about real-time streaming systems and platform reliability. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters , ensuring high availability and zero data loss Manage and optimize Kafka connectors (Debezium, JDBC, custom), Kafka MirrorMaker for replication Analyze logs using Grafana, OpenSearch to fine-tune Kafka performance Design and deploy Kubernetes-based Kafka infrastructure using Helm and Kustomize Collaborate with SRE and DevOps teams for streamlined deployments and automation Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , infrastructure-as-code, and test frameworks Troubleshoot streaming pipelines and perform root cause analysis of production issues Document runbooks, architectural decisions, and integration patterns Required Skills & Qualifications ✅ 5+ years of experience with Python ✅ 5+ years of working with Debezium Kafka connectors for SQL Server ✅ 5+ years of hands-on Kafka experience , ideally in Kubernetes environments ✅ 3+ years with Kubernetes and Docker ✅ Experience with Kafka upgrades, tuning, and MirrorMaker for replication ✅ Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud-native architecture ✅ Expertise in distributed systems and real-time streaming ✅ Experience with AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, Athena, S3, DMS ✅ Proficient with SQL , Git, Helm, and Kustomize ✅ Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB ✅ Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines and testing infrastructure at scale Nice to Have Experience with Kafka security , Schema Registry, RBAC Exposure to observability stacks (Prometheus, ELK, etc.) Knowledge of multi-cloud deployments How to Apply Email your resume to hr@nebulatechsolutions.com with: 📌 Subject Line : Immediate Joiner – Kafka Platform Engineer 📄 Include: Resume, Notice Period, and Expected CTC
