Placement Specialist

Job Summary:

The Placement Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and enhancing the placement process for students (in an academic setting) or candidates (in a corporate or agency setting). This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, identifying job opportunities, preparing candidates for placement, and ensuring a smooth recruitment experience for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Placement Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and implement strategic plans for successful placement of candidates/students.
• Track market trends and identify relevant employment opportunities.
• Employer Engagement:
• Build relationships with companies and industry partners to create placement opportunities.
• Coordinate campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and employer visits.
• Candidate Preparation:
• Organize training workshops, mock interviews, resume reviews, and career counseling sessions.
• Assist candidates with interview preparation and job application processes.
• Data Management & Reporting:
• Maintain a database of candidate profiles and placement statistics.
• Provide periodic placement reports to management or academic leadership.
• Team & Stakeholder Coordination:
• Liaise with academic departments, alumni, and external consultants.
• Manage a team of placement officers or student volunteers (if applicable).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in ddugky project, career services, or talent acquisition.
• Familiarity with industry trends and hiring practices.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and placement management systems or CRMs.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in academic institutions or student placement roles.
• Knowledge of industry-specific hiring (e.g.,MBA/ANY GRADUATE)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
