Placement Specialist

As a Placement Manager within the Career Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and enhancement of the placement process for students or candidates. Your primary focus will be on fostering relationships with employers, identifying job opportunities, preparing candidates for placement, and ensuring a seamless recruitment experience for all parties involved. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing strategic plans for successful candidate placements, staying abreast of market trends to identify relevant employment opportunities, and engaging with companies and industry partners to create placement opportunities. You will also be tasked with coordinating campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and employer visits, as well as organizing training workshops, mock interviews, resume reviews, and career counseling sessions for candidates. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a database of candidate profiles and placement statistics, providing regular placement reports to management, and collaborating with academic departments, alumni, and external consultants. Furthermore, you may oversee a team of placement officers or student volunteers to support in placement-related activities. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in projects like ddugky or talent acquisition. Familiarity with industry trends and hiring practices is essential, as well as strong interpersonal and networking skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in MS Office and placement management systems or CRMs. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in academic institutions or student placement roles, as well as knowledge of industry-specific hiring practices, such as those related to MBA or any graduate placements.
