Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with experience in Shopify, WordPress, and custom PHP frameworks. The ideal candidate should be capable of leading development projects, mentoring junior developers, and delivering high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using PHP and modern frameworks.
• Build and customize Shopify and WordPress websites/themes/plugins as per project requirements.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, front-end developers, and project managers.
• Perform code reviews and ensure best coding practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Guide and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel and/or CodeIgniter.
• Expertise in Shopify (theme customization, Liquid coding, app integration).
• Proficient in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, and hooks).
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.
• Version control experience with Git.
• Solid grasp of OOP, MVC architecture, and web development best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with SEO, performance optimization, and website security.
• Knowledge of deployment, hosting environments, and domain management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Good communication and client interaction skills.
