Operations Manager

The Palace Jhargram is a heritage hotel with 15 rooms in Jhargram district of West Bengal.

We are looking for a Manager preferably having prior work experience in a 3 Star Category Hotel /Colonial clubs/Army Mess/Guest Houses .Should have aesthetic sense and a rich experience of 10 years in services related to Food & Beverage , Accommodation , Guest Relations ,Manpower & Inventory management .

Ideal Candidate

• Proven clerical experience in administration, including stock management, cash control ,purchase of goods
• Proven track record of leading and managing and a team
• Proven experience of managing guests and giving them good service
• Good numerical and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication
• Management knowledge of health & safety and food safety
• Keep a watch over the security,discipline and cleanliness of the entire estate
• Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
• Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Must have good leadership skills and command over workers and manpower planning in Rural/Non Urban areas.
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Ensure employees work productively and professionally
• Oversee recruitment and training of local boys and girls
• Prepare regular reports for the owner
• Ensure staff follows SOPs and all regulations by authorities.
• Ensure proper inventory management
• Verify both the quality and quantity of items being supplied by the vendors and any discrepancy found should be immediately reported to the owners

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
