Job Description

1. Patient Care Management

Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of nursing services.
Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and hygiene.
Respond to emergency situations and coordinate care as needed.

2. Staff Supervision

Lead and manage a team of nurses and nursing assistants.
Assign duties and schedule shifts.
Monitor staff performance and provide feedback or counseling when needed.

3. Training & Development

Conduct regular training and skill development programs for nursing staff.
Ensure new nurses are oriented and trained according to hospital policies.

4. Administrative Duties

Maintain accurate patient and nursing records.
Ensure proper documentation of care, medication, and treatment.
Manage inventory of supplies, medicines, and equipment for the unit.

5. Policy Implementation

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control guidelines, and quality standards.
Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.

6. Coordination & Communication

Act as a liaison between doctors, nursing staff, patients, and their families.
Attend departmental and interdepartmental meetings.
Handle grievances or complaints from patients or staff.

7. Emergency Preparedness

Ensure staff readiness for handling emergencies (code blue, disaster drills).
Ensure all life-saving equipment is functional and regularly checked.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
