Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Neurologist with a DM in Neurology from a reputed institute to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles.
• Manage complex neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, neuro-infections, and neuromuscular disorders.
• Interpret neurological diagnostic tests including MRI, CT, EEG, EMG, NCV, and lumbar puncture results.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Participate in inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and on-call duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including neurosurgery, internal medicine, radiology, and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, and follow-up care.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in compliance with medical standards and protocols.
• Contribute to academic, research, and CME activities as applicable.

Qualifications:

• DM in Neurology (Doctorate of Medicine) from a recognized and reputed institute [e.g., AIIMS, PGIMER, NIMHANS, etc.].
• MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from recognized institutions.
• Valid medical license/registration to practice in [Insert State/Country].
• Minimum 10 years of post-DM clinical experience preferred, though fresh DM graduates may also be considered.
• Strong clinical acumen and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient management skills.

Desirable Attributes:

• Subspecialty interest or training (e.g., stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders) is an added advantage.
• Experience in academic or teaching settings.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality improvement.
