National Head for a German Thermal Process Machine Manufacturer

Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop existing customer relationships (OEMs, EMS providers, key accounts)
• Identify and acquire new customers and market segments
• Develop and implement a localized sales strategy aligned with the company’s global objectives
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and contracts in coordination with HQ
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events in India
• Monitor competitors and perform market analysis
• Coordinate commissioning, maintenance, and service interventions (via local partners or SMT technicians)
• Monitor spare parts needs and initiate procurement processes

Profile:

Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field

Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical sales of capital equipment, ideally in SMD technology.

• Must have experience: Know-how of SMD production including sales of printers, pick & place, AOI, SPI, X-ray as an example of hardware or also solder paste for consumer goods OR other and similar products.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of production technologies in the electronics industry, preferably SMD production.
• Ability to grasp and communicate complex technical solutions
• Personal Skills:
• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and customer focus
• High intercultural competence and communication skills
• Negotiation strength and persuasive communication style

Languages:

• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• German is an advantage but not mandatory
