Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified faculty member for the M.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology program. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, clinical expertise, and a passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals in operation theatre practices and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training in subjects related to Operation Theatre Technology at postgraduate level.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and assessment tools in alignment with university guidelines and healthcare industry standards.
• Guide and supervise student research projects, clinical training, and dissertations.
• Collaborate with hospital partners for internships and clinical postings.
• Maintain academic records, prepare reports, and contribute to academic audits and NAAC/NABH documentation.
• Participate in faculty meetings, departmental reviews, and institutional activities.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in surgical technologies and integrate them into teaching.
• Ensure students' compliance with safety protocols and ethical standards in operation theatre settings.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:

M.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology or M.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences with specialization in Operation Theatre Techniques or related field from a recognized university.

• Experience:

Minimum 0–1 years of teaching or clinical experience in Operation Theatre Technology. Candidates with prior academic experience will be preferred.

• Skills Required:
• In-depth knowledge of OT procedures, sterilization techniques, surgical instrumentation, and patient safety protocols.
• Strong communication, mentoring, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with modern teaching tools and simulation-based learning.
• Proficiency in MS Office and academic ERP systems.

Salary:

As per norms and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
