Your work profile GIS Developer Qualifications: The resource should have completed B.E/B. Tech in Computer Science, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), or a related field from a recognized university or institution. The resource should have completed a Master’s degree in Geospatial Technologies, Computer Science, or a related discipline (MBA or relevant advanced qualifications are desirable but not mandatory). The resource should have a proven background in Java development, GeoServer management, and Leaflet integration. Required Experience: 5-7 years of experience in GIS development, including hands-on experience with GeoServer, Leaflet, Java, and GIS Data Management. Desirable: The resource should have at least 3-5 years of experience working with GeoServer and web mapping technologies (such as Leaflet, WMS, WFS). Handle spatial data processing, analysis, and query optimization using PostGIS or spatial databases. Ensure that backend services meet performance, scalability, and security requirements. Geospatial Data Management: Manage geospatial datasets in various formats (GeoJSON, Shapefiles, KML, GML) and ensure their availability for GeoServer and web mapping applications. Automate data ingestion processes and ensure the integrity and accuracy of spatial data.
