Mid-Level Backend Developer (Python/Django) – Fintech

Job Description:

We’re hiring a mid-level backend developer with solid experience in Python and Django to join our fintech team. The ideal candidate is comfortable building secure, API-driven systems and integrating third-party financial services. Familiarity with developer AI tools is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Django and Django Rest Framework Design and implement secure, scalable RESTful APIs Integrate with third-party providers and fintech platforms Optimize database queries and data models (PostgreSQL or MySQL) Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver features end-to-end Write unit tests and participate in code reviews

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience with Django and Python Strong understanding of REST API design and third-party integration Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases Familiarity with asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery) Ability to work with AI-powered developer tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot) Experience in fintech or transactional systems is a plus Bonus: Docker and CI/CD pipeline familiarity

Pay: ₹389,242.38 - ₹1,814,852.74 per year
