Job brief:

Electrical Design Engineer is expected to apply engineering principles, physics and materials science for the analysis, design, installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Electrical Design Engineer creates solutions, which can range from small component designs to large-scale systems. More commonly you would be working on security, alarm systems, lighting and HV / LV systems. Electrical Design Engineers have the opportunity to work on all stages of design for electrical services, from the early research, development (Concept Design) all the way through to detailed design, installation and final commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
• Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
• Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities and Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with regulations.
• Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service and creating reports and documentation
• Maintains product data base by writing computer programs; entering data.
• Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Keeping up to date with the latest building regulations and solving complex problems
• Communicating with clients and contractors.
• Liaising with suppliers, clients, architects and contractors and visiting on site

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Planning and organizational skills, such as time and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of Design Software like Dialux, ETAP, Amtech etc preferred.
• Strong initiative, IT literate and Decisiveness.
• Excellent problem solving skills and commercial awareness.
• B.E / B.Tech Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,915.29 - ₹55,625.31 per month
