Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Coder to join our Chennai office. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, sectional terminology, and basic medical coding principles, including ICD coding frameworks.
What You’ll Do
Review and interpret medical records (anatomy, physiology, sectional documentation)
Assign and sequence accurate ICD codes for diagnoses and procedures
Verify data accuracy and clarify discrepancies with clinical staff
Ensure coding compliance with industry guidelines
Collaborate to maintain documentation standards
Required Qualifications
Solid understanding of anatomy & physiology
Basic knowledge of medical coding and ICD standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication abilities in English
