Our company is looking for an experienced mechanical project engineer to join our team. You will be critical in planning, coordinating and executing mechanical projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, budgets and established quality standards. You would also collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of projects. Responsibilities Analyse project requirements and develop mechanical engineering plans. Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets for mechanical projects. Work with design teams to ensure mechanical plans meet technical requirements and regulatory standards. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities to facilitate project execution. Manage budgets, timelines and resources for mechanical project elements. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures throughout project phases. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues. Conduct quality inspections and ensure adherence to mechanical codes and standards. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams. Stay updated on the latest engineering technologies and best practices. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3+ years of proven experience in mechanical project management. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, systems and components. Proficiency in project management software and mechanical design tools. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with project teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality mechanical projects. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions in dynamic project environments. Knowledge of environmental and sustainability practices in mechanical engineering. Proficiency in using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software. Awareness of industry-specific codes and regulations in India. Proficiency in project design and planning, management, costing and documentation. Ability to work individually with minimal supervision. Preferred skills and qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with automation and control systems. Multilingual proficiency for effective communication in a diverse engineering environment. Experience with project management tools and software.
