Mechanical Engineers Sales & Services

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Engineer – Sales and

Service to work in steel plant operations. The role involves ensuring the smooth

functioning of mechanical equipment across various plant sections such as Cold rolling

mill Complex, furnaces, Hot Rolling Mill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of mechanical

equipment used in steel manufacturing (e.g., rolling mills, hydraulic presses,

gearboxes, pumps, etc.).

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable mechanical products and

solutions.

• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations for clients.

• Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to provide customized

solutions.

• Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and technical documentation.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at customer sites.

• Perform maintenance, repair, and testing of mechanical equipment as needed.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and effective after-sales service.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and

competitor activities.

• Willing to travel Pan India

Qualifications and Skills:

•Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering

•Proven experience in technical sales, customer service, or field support roles.

•Strong understanding Steel Industry, Preciously in Cold Rolling Complex and Hot Rolling Mill

•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

•Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

•Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

•Experience in industries such as steel and manufacturing.

•Certification in relevant industry standards is a plus.
