Post : Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will be responsible for

Design fire protection system drawings for hazard areas.
Review automatic fire sprinkler and fire alarm contractor shop drawings and provide written comments
Performing field surveys, fire protection system inspections, and acceptance testing Developing reports, letters and memos (as necessary) with the assistance of other engineers
Raise Material Requisitions.
Tracking the material status and prepares interim and completion project reports.
Performing hazardous materials assessments for storage and manufacturing facilities
Analyzing engineering sketches, specification, and related data and drawings to Determine design factors, arrangement of material.
Co-ordinate activities concerned with technical design changes, scheduling, and resolving design and test problems.
Performing standard fire protection design tasks such as sprinkler design criteria specification, preliminary hydraulic calculations, fire pump selection, and fire alarm system layout
Performing the training activities after project completion
Preparing the TD Submittal documents.
