Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and driven Design Engineer with a background in plastic engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have up to 2 years of experience and must demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced product development environment.

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of plastic components for consumer and industrial products
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks, with a focus on surface modeling
• Collaborate with senior designers and engineers on concept development & prototyping
• Participate in design
• views and make iterative improvements based on feedback
• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and production-ready

Desired profile:-

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, or related field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in plastic product design
• Proficiency in surface modeling using SolidWorks is a must
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Positive attitude, curiosity, and enthusiasm to learn new tools, methods, and technologies.
• Exposure to injection molding processes and DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
• Basic knowledge of prototyping techniques
• Additional knowledge/Interest in Product design or similar background will have more advantage
