Manager/Senior Manager

Job Title:

1. The Manager/Senior Manager - Environment under EHS will oversee environmental quality monitoring, compliance reporting, and awareness initiatives to align operations with legal and regulatory standards while promoting sustainable practices across the plant.
2. The role will plan and optimize budgets for environmental programs, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources for monitoring and compliance activities. Responsibilities include addressing customer and regulatory inquiries promptly, ensuring timely reporting of compliance metrics to government authorities, and conducting regular assessments for shop floor air quality, ambient air quality, noise, and stack emissions.
3. The incumbent will ensure adherence to integrated management systems (ISO, EMS, OHSAS) and statutory requirements by submitting environmental returns and clearance reports within defined timelines while conducting audits to maintain zero non-conformance.
4. The role will drive the organization's sustainability culture by organizing environmental training and awareness programs, celebrating environmental campaigns such as World Environment Day and Van Mahotsav, and providing technical training and ESG compliance education for team development.
5. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental considerations into business decisions, support ESG report development, maintain updated waste and emission data templates, and align environmental initiatives with the organization's ESG and operational excellence goals.
