About The Role

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive maintenance technician to join our team and help support the efficient operation of our fleet and plant machinery. This is a hands-on role involving the upkeep, preventative maintenance and assistance in periodic inspections. The ideal candidate will a problem solver with good technical skills, committed to high standards of safety, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist our maintenance team with periodic vehicle inspection.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Accurately record all maintenance activities and report work completed.
  

Technical Skills

• Good mechanical & electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and safe systems of work
• Basic welding skills.
• Full clean Drivers licence
• Familiar in using hand and power tools
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks
