Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Curriculum Delivery:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Spanish and German for secondary school students.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Foster a classroom environment conducive to language acquisition and cultural understanding.

2.Curriculum Development:

• Design lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments aligned with the curriculum and language proficiency levels.
• Stay updated on language teaching methodologies and integrate modern teaching aids like multimedia resources.

1. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress in language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve language proficiency.

4.Cultural Enrichment:

• Introduce students to the cultural aspects of Spanish and German-speaking countries, enhancing global awareness.
• Organize language-related activities, workshops, and events such as language fairs or cultural festivals.

5.Student Support:

• Offer additional support to students struggling with language acquisition through remedial sessions.
• Encourage students to participate in extracurricular language activities, such as debates, quizzes, and exchange programs.

6.Professional Development:

• Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs to improve teaching methodologies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Spanish/German or a related field.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proficiency in both Spanish/German (certifications like DELE, Goethe preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong command of Spanish/ German, including grammar, vocabulary, and conversational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a dynamic and engaging classroom atmosphere.
• Proficiency in using technology for language teaching, such as digital language labs or apps.
