Role Description

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations across all Pacific Health Diagnostic Centre branches and collection centres. Based in Mumbai, the role involves comprehensive management of laboratory activities, equipment, quality control, and compliance with regulatory standards. In addition to supervising lab processes, the Laboratory Manager will also be responsible for liaisoning, inter-branch coordination, and operational oversight. The position calls for strong leadership, analytical capabilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic service.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across all branches and collection centres
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Monitor and enforce quality control and safety protocols
• Conduct and supervise R&D activities as required
• Liaise with medical professionals, vendors, and external agencies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Lead and manage the laboratory team, including training and performance evaluation
• Optimize workflows and ensure efficient reporting and turnaround times
• Prepare and manage schedules, reports, and documentation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Quality Control and Laboratory Management
• Hands-on expertise with modern Laboratory Equipment
• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving Skills
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D)
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (Master’s or advanced degree preferred)
• Experience in a medical or clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable
