Lab Technician – Quality Testing Lab

SICBMA is seeking a qualified and dedicated Lab Technician to operate its Quality Testing Lab with professionalism and efficiency. The technician will be responsible for conducting a range of material and product tests in accordance with BIS, ASTM, and other industry standards. This role supports both members and non-members of the association by delivering accurate and timely testing services. Key Responsibilities: Perform quality tests on corrugated packaging materials as per BIS/ASTM and industry standards which include 1. Burst Strength Test 2. Edge Extrusion Test 2 Single 3. Glue water resistance 4. Cobb Sizing Tester 5. Paper weight and thickness 6. Puncture resistance 7. Abrasion test 8. Box compression test 9. Chemical Analysis in Corrugated Box Testing  Ensure accurate documentation of test results and generate detailed reports.  Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.  Uphold safety and quality standards within the lab environment.  Assist in the development and implementation of new testing procedures as required.  Coordinate with members and clients for sample submissions, queries, and report delivery.  Maintain up-to-date records for audits and compliance.
