JD – Interior Design Associate Job Title: Interior Design Associate Company: 3 Star Projects Industry: Furniture Manufacturing Location: Thane/Dombivli, Mumbai Salary Range: ₹12,000 - ₹16,000 per month Job Summary: 3 Star Projects is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Design Associate to join our dynamic design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of carpentry and design, with proficiency in relevant design software. This role involves creating detailed design drawings and specifications, making site visits to take measurements, supporting the Design Lead and the overall project team, and assisting with sales follow-up activities. Key Responsibilities: Design Creation: Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for custom furniture, cabinetry, and other woodwork projects using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp. Site Visits: Conduct site visits to take precise measurements and gather necessary information for design accuracy.  Technical Drawings: Prepare and review technical drawings, blueprints, and 3D models. Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, building codes, and company quality standards under the supervision of the Design Lead. Support Role: Provide support to the Design Lead and collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure seamless project execution. Sales Follow-up (Cold Calling): Assist with sales follow-up activities, including cold calling potential clients to generate interest, answering inquiries, and coordinating with the sales team to schedule follow-up meetings and presentations. Qualifications:  Education: Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in industrial design, Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in carpentry design, furniture design, or a related field is preferred. Freshers can also apply.  Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools. Attention to Details: Strong attention to detail with a passion for precision in design. Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly document measurements and design details.
