>> ABOUT US

360Watts is an energy-tech startup with the goal of simplifying how residential users owns solar at their home — not just about selling one-time, but offering full service/support for the next 25+ years. From design to installation to maintenance and integrated with intelligent energy management app.

Building products for a new energy lifestyle — that will empower users with full control, transparency and maximising usage of solar energy - at home and outside.

We’re a solar venture of Matterless Technologies, with vision to exploring AI-powered smart home automation, ambient intelligence, community solar energy, peer-to-peer energy sharing and towards decentralised energy ecosystem of the future.

>> THE ROLE

  • We’re looking for an energetic and curious person — ready to roll up their sleeves, cold call / visit customers, explain our product and help to shape innovative strategies to bring our product to different customer segments
  • Not a typical door-to-door sales — you’ll be learning what it means to sell a tech product, how users think, and how to build go-to-market strategies that actually work
  • With mentorship from the founder and in collaboration with our UX design intern.

>> YOUR TASKS

Potential customer segments include urban homes, green-tech adopters and Resident Welfare Associations (RWA) of apartments, gated communities, neighbourhood communities

  • Identify and acquire 5-10 initial pilot customers via. cold calls, WhatsApp, email, local visits and follow-ups
  • Develop innovative go-to-market strategies for each customer segments, including pricing models, partnership models, product positioning and sales pitches
  • Scout and reach out to potential sales/channel partners (e.g. solar installers, architects, green influencers)
  • Run early growth experiments: referral campaigns, community events, local influencer outreach
  • Document a sales playbook — capturing what works, what fails, how to scale
  • Collaborate closely with the UX Research Intern for product-market-fit validation

>> WHO YOU ARE

  • A self-starter who wants to step out and talk with people + strategise analytically
  • Enjoy storytelling, listening, and closing conversations
  • Curious about climate tech, user psychology, and learn how markets work
  • Bonus: Prior experience on sales or go-to-market with startups, NGOs, college fests, or community outreach projects
  • PROFESSIONAL ENGLISH + TAMIL LANGUAGE fluency is a must !!

  • On-boarding into the life of product sales
  • To build and implement customer-centric GTM strategies
  • To position and price a tech product
  • To grow into a full-time leadership role in sales, growth, or customer success
  • To think like a founder and execute in a founding startup

>> WORK DETAILS

--> Start date: 01.08.2025 (or) 15.08.2025

--> Duration: 3 months (with option to extend or translate into a full-time job)

--> Salary: 8k (+ up to 2k performance bonus) per month

--> Location: On-site (Coimbatore)
