A primary steel producer with a legacy of over 70 years, classified by JPC (Ministry of Steel) **Job Location:** Gujarat **Preferred HQ:** Ahmedabad / Rajkot / Bhavnagar **Experience:** 7–10 years **Industry Preference:** Steel / Cement /RMC/ Building Materials 1. Sales Manager – Institutional Sales • **Role Objective:** Drive institutional and project-based steel sales in Gujarat by targeting infrastructure companies, government contractors, and large-scale EPC clients. **Key Responsibilities:** • Identify and onboard institutional buyers (contractors, builders, infra companies, govt. agencies) • Handle project approvals, techno-commercial discussions, and rate negotiations • Develop relationships with decision-makers: project heads, purchase managers, consultants • Work closely with the specifications/technical team for pre-approvals (e.g., NHAI, PWD, Railways) • Track tenders, DPRs, and project pipelines across public and private sectors • Ensure timely execution of institutional orders and post-sales coordination • Regular visits to project sites and corporate offices for relationship development • Achieve monthly institutional volume targets **Preferred Background:** • Experience in steel/cement sales to EPC contractors, infrastructure companies, real estate developers, Government projects. 2. Sales Manager – Channel Sales • **Role Objective:** Develop and strengthen SRMB’s dealer/distributor network across Gujarat to increase retail sales and brand penetration. **Key Responsibilities:** • Appoint and manage dealers and distributors across towns and districts in Gujarat • Drive secondary sales through channel partners with a focus on TMT bars and construction steel • Implement dealer schemes, CD structures, and promotional activities • Regular market visits to monitor dealer activity, resolve issues, and build relationships • Track competition pricing and schemes; adjust strategies for local market dynamics • Coordinate with logistics, branding, and technical support teams to serve channel partners • Ensure healthy ROI and territory-wise retail volume growth • Monitor and enforce credit discipline and payment collection **Preferred Background:** • Experience in retail/channel sales of steel/cement/building materials with exposure to dealer appointment, territory management, and sales team handling.
