House Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a responsible and trustworthy House Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of a private household. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in household management and the ability to supervise maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and general upkeep work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise household staff and ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee maintenance work including electrical, plumbing, and civil repairs
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and technicians for repair and maintenance work
• Monitor and manage cleanliness, upkeep, and organization of all indoor and outdoor areas
• Maintain stock of household supplies, cleaning materials, and maintenance tools
• Ensure the functioning of all appliances, electrical systems, and water systems
• Handle petty cash and maintain expense records
• Report any urgent issues or requirements to the homeowner
• Ensure household safety and security measures are in place
• Coordinate for events, guests, or special tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a similar role (household or facility management)
• Strong understanding of household maintenance, including electrical and plumbing systems
• Ability to supervise workers and ensure quality service
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Trustworthy, disciplined, and highly responsible
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Word is a plus
• Candidate with own vehicle preferred (if applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
