About YourStory: YourStory is a digital media platform covering and championing India’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. With 16+ years of experience telling stories of changemakers, we aim to inspire, educate, and empower our readers through impactful narratives of startups, innovations, and leaders shaping the future. Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Growth Manager to spearhead our social media strategy, engage our audience, and amplify our brand presence across platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing social media channels, an analytical mindset, and a flair for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. Key Responsibilities User Acquisition: Develop and execute organic and paid growth strategies to drive high-quality subscribers. Retention & Engagement: Build and optimize lifecycle marketing campaigns (email, WhatsApp, push notifications) to maximize reader retention. Conversion Optimization: Enhance landing pages, pricing experiments, and checkout flows to improve conversion rates. Performance Marketing: Manage and optimize paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. Referral & Viral Loops: Design and implement referral programs, ambassador campaigns, and community-driven growth initiatives. SEO & Content Distribution: Work closely with editorial and social media teams to ensure high-impact content reaches the right audience. Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics tools (GA4, Piano, etc.) to track KPIs, generate insights, and continuously improve performance. Strategic Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with ecosystem players, influencers, and affiliates to drive awareness and subscriptions. What We’re Looking For 3-7 years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or subscription marketing, preferably in media, fintech, or content-driven businesses. Proven expertise in paid acquisition (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube) and growth hacking strategies. Strong understanding of email marketing, retention strategies, and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take ownership, and experiment rapidly. Passion for business journalism, startups, and financial markets is a plus.
