Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Green Building Certification Consultant with a strong background in sustainable architecture and green building design. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) along with a recognized Green Building Certification (e.g., IGBC, GRIHA, LEED). The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design for green building projects, including at least one similar government project executed within the past 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and documentation of green building projects in accordance with national certification standards (IGBC, GRIHA, or LEED).

Prepare and review sustainable architectural designs that meet energy efficiency, water conservation, and environmental impact goals.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including MEP, structural, and sustainability consultants.

Ensure timely submission of certification documentation and compliance with all green building requirements.

Liaise with government departments and certification agencies for approvals and inspections.

Guide internal teams and clients on strategies for achieving targeted green ratings and performance benchmarks.

Stay updated with the latest in sustainable design practices and certification protocols.

Required Qualifications

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) from a recognized institution.

Possession of a valid Green Building Certification (IGBC/AP, GRIHA Trainer/Assessor, or LEED Accredited Professional) is mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in green building design and certification.

Must have worked on at least one similar government project in the past 3 years.

Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and green building simulation tools.

Job Location

Based in West Bengal; field visits and coordination with local authorities may be required.
