Job Description For GET-Mechatronics Department- Test Development & Automation Educational & Professional Qualification- Four-year Degree in Robotics/ Automation or Mechatronics General Description- To get trained on Automation projects & standards from Site, Regional & Global teams. Help engineering in implementing new & modified Automation Systems. Understands Manufacturing process flow & Automation Strategy from end to end and demonstrate proficiency. Job Responsibilities- Requirement gathering from user to understand Automation Need. Prepare DFx, suggest modifications for better ROI. Generate mechanical drawings, Embedded Firmware, Robot programs to execute the project. Assemble & Test first Prototype Design Co-ordinate & interact with other teams like mechanical, hardware & software to complete the system Design. Assist & train Engineering team in initial phase of implementation. Tools & Techniques Required- Basic Knowledge Solidworks & Autocad Embedded System design using RPi, Arduino,ROS Expertise in PLC,SCADA,Ladder Diagram Digital System Design using Microprocessors / Microcontrollers, ADC/DACs, Memories, Latches etc. Electrical design , using sensors , Solenoids , Safety Devices etc Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems Note: Expertise in AI & Cobot will be an added advantage. , BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
