We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager – Operations (Male or Female) to lead and oversee our manufacturing and operations activities for solar street light production. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong background in production management, supply chain coordination, team leadership, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations within the renewable energy or lighting manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity.
Lead production planning, inventory management, and procurement strategies.
Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams to meet delivery timelines.
Drive cost reduction initiatives and optimize resource allocation.
Ensure strict compliance with safety and quality standards.
Monitor key operational metrics and provide regular performance reports to top management.
Implement process improvements and introduce automation where applicable.
Manage and mentor department heads and ensure workforce training and development.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum 4 years of experience in operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
Solid understanding of production workflows, supply chain management, and ERP systems.
Ability to handle multi-functional teams and work under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
